Health Reports are Not Written For You
On March 22, 2020, the Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering launched what would become the most-consulted scientific resource of the pandemic: a real-time global dashboard tracking confirmed COVID-19 cases, deaths, and recoveries across more than 180 countries (Dong et al., 2020). Within weeks it was drawing tens of millions of daily visitors.
